Ben Fuller ft. Carrie Underwood with "If It Was Up To Me"

Ben Fuller and Carrie Underwood Unite for a Powerful New Duet: “If It Was Up To Me”

Today marks an exciting day in Christian music as Ben Fuller releases his newest single, “If It Was Up To Me,” featuring none other than 8-time GRAMMY Award winner Carrie Underwood. This powerful duet blends heartfelt lyrics with stirring harmonies that are sure to touch listeners around the world. You can listen to the song now and watch the official studio visualizer.

Reflecting on the meaning behind the song, Ben shares,

“When I wrote this song, I kept thinking about how difficult life can be and that if I was in control, and it was up to me, I’d make it a lot easier on myself – but I’d never know then how good God’s plans can be. I’m so grateful Carrie wanted to share her love for Jesus on a song with me. She was so kind and calm when we were in the studio. And I’m pretty sure I smiled almost as big as God did when she stepped up to the mic that day!”

Carrie Underwood also expressed her excitement about the collaboration:

“Ben is such a talented singer and songwriter, and I love the joy he brings to singing about his faith, which we have in common. I was honored when he asked me to sing with him on ‘If It Was Up To Me,’ and I love how our voices blend on such a positive and uplifting song.”

Today’s release also kicks off the pre-save for Fuller’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Walk Through Fire, which will be released on June 6. Since his debut in 2023, Fuller has already achieved an impressive 256 million career streams. His viral hit “If I Got Jesus” alone has amassed over 1.5 billion short-form video views and inspired more than 2.1 million TikTok creations.

Adding to his momentum, last month Fuller released a four-song bundle featuring “Deeper Still”, which had the strongest first-week streaming numbers of his career. His current Top 20 radio single “Turn” continues to climb the charts. Fuller is currently on the road with Big Daddy Weave and Megan Woods on the “Let It Begin Tour,” and will join CAIN on The Jesus Music Tour after Easter. Full tour dates are available at benfullerofficial.com.

As for Carrie Underwood, she is finishing the final stretch of her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, the longest-running residency for any solo female country artist at Resorts World Las Vegas. Her concert special CARRIE UNDERWOOD: REFLECTION is streaming now on Hulu and Disney+. Carrie also recently celebrated 20 years since her American Idol win and continues to appear as a judge on the show alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Her latest duet with Cody Johnson, “I’m Gonna Love You,” also recently topped the charts.

Together, Ben Fuller and Carrie Underwood are reminding us that when we trust God’s plan, the results are more beautiful than we could ever imagine.
