Darlene Zschech & CeCe Winans Release Fresh Recording of “Shout To The Lord” Ahead of House of Worship Album

In a powerful moment of worship history, two legendary voices—Darlene Zschech and CeCe Winans—have come together to breathe new life into one of the most beloved anthems of the global Church: “Shout To The Lord.”

The Dove Award-winning, RIAA Gold-selling Australian worship pioneer Darlene Zschech, who first penned the song in 1994 while at Hillsong Church, joins forces with 17-time GRAMMY Award-winning gospel icon CeCe Winans for this fresh recording, now available on all digital and streaming platforms via The Fuel Music. This release serves as the lead single for the highly anticipated House of Worship album, set to launch in January 2026.

The upcoming project is nothing short of historic—25 of the world’s most influential worship artists collaborating in one place to reimagine timeless songs that have impacted millions of believers. Together, they hold a staggering 48 GRAMMY Awards (138 nominations) and 176 Dove Awards.

Produced by Paul Mabury and John Hartley, “Shout To The Lord” features worship legend Michael W. Smith on piano, alongside a stellar lineup of musicians including Dwan Hill, Stu Garrard, and Mabury himself. The result is a heartfelt, Spirit-filled expression that bridges generations.

Reflecting on the song’s origin, Zschech recalls a deeply personal moment:

“Shout To The Lord was really sung more than written. I was at my out-of-tune piano, weighed down by life, when I opened my Bible to Psalms 95–100 and just sang to Jesus. It was finished in 20 minutes. I never imagined the way it would go on to bless the nations.”

CeCe Winans shares her own joy in recording this anthem:

The House of Worship album—executive produced by Michael W. Smith and Darlene Zschech—was recorded in-the-round with all 25 artists together at World Wide Stages in Tennessee. It captures the unity and power of voices across generations, including names like Kari Jobe, Israel Houghton, Matt Redman, Chris Brown (Elevation Worship), Charity Gayle, Pat Barrett, Tim Hughes, and many more.
