Pat Barrett Announces New Album I’ve Got A Fire Out October 3, 2025

GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter and worship leader Pat Barrett is set to release his fourth studio album, I’ve Got A Fire, on October 3, 2025 (Bowyer & Bow / CCMG). The new project is now available for pre-add, pre-save, and pre-order, inviting listeners to prepare their hearts for what promises to be one of his most dynamic collections yet.

Unlike his previous works, I’ve Got A Fire bursts with creativity, weaving together vibrant, colorful sounds alongside tender introspection. Barrett explains, “For me, these have been the songs that have challenged, encouraged and moved me along in my faith. These songs have filled my house with music, my mouth with singing, and — most importantly — my heart with worship. I hope they do the same for you.”

Fans have already received a glimpse of the record through singles like “Praise The Lord Forever” (released in June) and “I’ve Got A Fire” (released in August). The title track, accompanied by a touching music video featuring Barrett’s father, has quickly connected with audiences, gaining momentum across streaming platforms.

Most recently, Barrett shared a brand-new song, “Hard Part Of A Dream.” This raw and moving ballad speaks to the perseverance required to see God-given dreams through. “Five years ago, I’m not sure I would have put this song on an album,” Barrett admits. “It’s one of those songs that I felt was just for me. However, songs have a funny way of getting under your skin and into your heart. It’s about the belief that the dreams in your heart are there for a reason and that they are worth the blood, sweat and tears to pursue. Dreaming a dream is the easiest part; seeing it through is what makes it so hard…with no guarantees, that’s the hard part of a dream.”
